HIRING PROCESS

Our Hiring Process
At Hire Point, our Recruitors will work with you to find a rewarding opportunity that fits your needs. Here is how our registration process works:

1. APPLICATION
Your first step is to call us at (718) 401.1270 for information. Then you will fill out an application at our office on any Thursday, between 10:00AM and 1:00PM. After we meet and discuss your current career goals, work experience and expectations, if you meet our hiring criteria, we'll arrange an appointment for a later date to talk about some job opportunities.

2. INTERVIEW
Hire Point is ready to help you meet your career goals. When you come in for your appointment, your Recruitor will conduct a one-on-one interview to assess your interests, experience, career goals and work preferences. During the interview, we will review your work history and identify assignments or positions that may be right for you.

3. PAPERWORK AND ID DOCUMENTS
If you are hired, you will be asked to complete State and Federal tax forms, as well as the I-9 form. When completing the I-9, you are required to supply two forms of acceptable identification; please be sure to bring them with you to the interview. They are a current Government issued Picture ID and your Social Security Card (original, not a copy). A Social Security Office is directly across the street from our office. You will also need a working E-mail address (a spouse or friend's is acceptable).

Your paycheck is paid via direct deposit. You may elect to have your check automatically deposited to your personal bank account, (please bring a canceled check), or we will provide you with a CashZone Payroll Card issued through Metropolitan National Bank when you register.

4. TESTING
Testing is required of all candidates depending on their stated skills. You will complete one or more assessments, depending upon your skill set and interests.

5. REFERENCE CHECKS / BACKGROUND CHECK / DRUG SCREEN
A preliminary criminal background check is run on every candidate who comes into the Hire Point Staffing office to register. It is our policy not to accept an application from anyone with a violent felony in their background. Upon request from our customer, we may also perform more comprehensive criminal, driving record and/or credit background checks before you are assigned. Because Hire Point is a drug-free workplace, we also conduct a pre-employment and re-employment drug screen when applicable.
